TB !?!

The day before yesterday , i fetched my maid to the clinic and hospital for her fomema ( a mandatory medical check-up for every foreign maids / workers )

so yeah....it was my 1st time running this errand haha......

drove her to the clinic stated on the paper ( Thank God i managed to find my way there really fast - since i'm really hopeless @ road directions haha xD )

I called the clinic and asked for landmarks and when i reached there , the doctor recognize my voice and we chatted a little haha xD

She was sooo random...telling me that doctor is not really a high paying job ( last year she spent rm 91k on medicine only )

she told me that dentist and pharmacist can earn a lot since ( for dentist ... ) you earn from the work you get...not the medicine haha xD real enough though xD

she also said that my maid is really manja ( xiu jie type )

true...the most xiu jie maid ever !!! xD ( MORE xiu jie than me eh.... )

i remembered i parked a little far once ( we went to buy gas ) she even complained to me that it's far and hot and etc....=.=

and me ....1st time also can buy gas while she failed ...lols

even when we open the gate , she will take the cap only walk slowly to the gate and open lols xD

She told the doctor many times... " i did this a lot of times already "

and the doctor said " lols..and you are still afraid....girl , your maid really manja ah.... "

me , " lols....yeah " haha....

so after the doctor took her blood and urine sample , we adjourned to the hospital for x-ray ...( to see any tumours , abnormalities etc.... )

then i fetched my bro and we went home ( bro even complained that why we go home so fast =.=''' ) it was super hot that day eh......

can't believed i actually cried that day lol...for some stupid reasons and for my past doings etc....

ok ...next haha

the next day , dad called home and told my mum a really shocking news...

mum was like " what !! TB !! TB can spread leh.... "

when i asked her , she didn't tell me anything and she called my dad again....but i freaked out a little after hearing the word " contagious " ( maybe she don't want to freak me out since i'm a hypochondriac lols )

i though it was my grandfather...but later she told me ( after i "bombarded" her with loads of questions )

she told me..... " sim got TB ( tuberculosis ) , the doctor said that he saw little dots in her lungs ... "

ok.....major freak out much !?!

we tried to tell her but she don't even know what is TB ...

poor girl...i would freak out if i'm her...

I WAS thinking...gosh...i think i have TB ...she've been working here for the past 1 year and wait....everyone of us talked to her etc.....

so being a hypochondriac....i was really scared....

then mum brought her out again ( for further check up ) and fetched bro clarence to school.....

i was alone with my grandfather trying to explain everything in my very sloppy Hokkien haha xD

I prayed to God......hoping that it was a false alarm....false result ( last time my mum told me that her previous maid - the maid that took care of me when i was a baby had TB but later it was proven to be false lol )

and true enough....2 hours later , my mother called .....she told me that the specialist said that the tiny thing is an OLD SCAR .... ( which means...she had TB when she was young and maybe it healed by it's own and mind you...IT'S NOT CONTAGIOUS !!! ) PRAISE THE LORD

but a little sad for her because the doctor said that she's too young for the disease to be active...but maybe when she's older ...when her immune system weakens , the disease may attack again

( i add the immune system..... thing haha )

i was really happy ...and relieved as well =D haha....

but the major problem is that she might have to go home...since the government will not approve any permits regardless of whether the disease is contagious , old scar / history , etc.....

my parents decided to appeal...but i felt so bad..i was like " really ah.... " ( to be very honest , part of me don't want them to appeal ...but kesian her...even though she manja and always irritates you like " i don't knw " and her super high pitch voice.... i think i really have to be more kind and really really tell myself not to so-called " don't like her " anymore ) - i just don't like manja type ppl as in ( xiao jie ) type ( sry ) !

and yeah...if she have to go , we will be in big trouble ( i have no trouble cleaning my room , hse etc...but imagine....me alone !?! ) parents have to work , bros have to go to sch lol...and i have to do everything lols haha....die whey ....sure 1 day cannot finish everything....

and a question arises....

me and my mum was discussing..." hmmm.....since it's an old scar...why last time the doctor / agency didn't send her home when they knw that it's an old scar of TB ? "

MUM said " maybe you see...the government in Cambodia checked her and found a little problem but for a maid to work in another country , they can earn a lot of thousands ...and when the Malaysian maid agency found out about her problem , they don't want to send her home because they already spent so much money bringing maids in ..."

i said " i see...so that means they don't mind putting their customers lives on the line la... haha xD guess that's business....and yeah i think that the agency may form an aliance with the doctor so that they can pass each and every maid's 1st fomema..... "

if not my family would really have TB and will suffer whey... lols xD
